First Impressions

I love a nice entryway; curb appeal, as it is often called.  But curb appeal is more than just the landscaping.  The color of your front door has a large impact on the visual aesthetic of your home.

Like your smile or your handshake, it makes a first impression.  Kind of a sneak peek to what waits for you inside.  These days, shades of blue are the most popular color for a front door surpassing the popular red color choice that has reigned for years.  Peacock, sea glass, and even navy blue hues are gaining in popularity.  Teal, however, seems to be the most popular currently.

Here's something else to consider...paint is inexpensive and front doors are not large.  In an afternoon, the whole look of your home can change with the stroke of a brush!  What color is your front door?
