GLEAM: Art in a New Light

Catch a glimpse of wonderfully illuminated artwork at GLEAM: Art in a New Light.  In it's third year at Olbrich Botanical gardens, the event features artists from around the Midwest with light installations to showcase their artwork all within the beautiful landscape of the Botanical Garden.  The event is one of the most spectacular our city offers.

David Wells, GLEAM  Artistic Director has this to say about the 2017 installation, "2017 is our most ambitious illumination of Olbrich Gardens yet. Artists chosen come from Wisconsin, Nebraska, Missouri, New Jersey, and Germany bring various and stunning approaches to how light will be used to transform the gardens and conservatory, stimulating curiousity, wonder and enchantment."

GLEAM runs August 28th-October 28th.  You won't be disappointed!

June 2017 Home Sales

The fast paced seller's market that began in early spring continued into the summer.  As the summer comes to a close, however, the market has slowed.

It's still a seller's market and inventory is still tight, but buyer's have backed off.  Why?  It's hard to say.  It could be summer vacations, weddings to attend, class reunions, or other events that make for a busy summer.  I also believe that buyer's are frustrated and many have decided to take a break.  Whatever the reason, those buyer's will be back!

If you are wondering what has sold in the last several weeks, check out the properties below.
