Zestimates

Zestimate is a word home buyers and sellers know. Zillow has done remarkable work in becoming a trusted go-to resource for people who are engaged in residential real estate. 

Zillow tells everyone who is willing to read that the Zestimate is at best a starting point of a value conversation.  On their web site, Zillow explains  (with charts) that Zestimate is accurate in representing a property's value within 20% of the eventual sales price 91% of the time. Within 20% almost 91% of the time?  Not even a meteorologist keeps a job with that kind of inaccuracy.

Zillow does do a good job at some things. They tell consumers  ...get a market analysis from a Realtor®. Visit the house.

Buying and selling Real Estate is dependent on the area you live, which is why Zillow might be a good place to start (and 90% of people who are buying do start searching online first), but it's just a start.  To get real, accurate and current information, begin with a professional.  Call me and I can help!
